True to its name, this problem is kind of an eliminate. It climbs right side of the steep face on the north side of the Wander Boulder. Start with your hands on sidepulls above head height on the face itself. Do not reach around the corner with your right hand. The jug ledge around the corner is off both for your hand and your feet. From the sidepulls, paste your feet on some small footholds on the face and make a tough move up to a dish on the arete. Follow the arete to an exciting topout.  

  This would be a four star classic if the out-of-bounds holds didn't exist.

We Who Wander

Around the corner to the right from We Who Wander is a steep, juggy face. There are a lot of ways to climb up this face. Because it's pretty steep, it's a good warmup for the stuff nearby.

Start in the pit as for We Who Wander. Climb up to the roof, past We Who Wander's first crux. At the roof, find the right hold that allows you to reach right into a cool letterbox slot. Match the slot and topout up and right on a big ledge. It's a bit scary due to a funky landing.

We Who Wander is one of the classic problems in Waterville. It follows a right to left rising traverse past an interesting schist roof. 

  Start standing in the pit with your right hand on a crimp and your left hand on an undercling. Climb up the face, passing a Cathedral-style face crux. Once you gain the roof, traverse left on underclings until you can achieve a tenuous rest. Work out the roof, heading left, past some slopers. Negotiate a tenuous and difficult topout onto the slab. Climb easier, but slightly highball, rock to the top.  

  With about 20 moves, We Who Wander feels more like a sport climb than a boulder problem, but conveniently, you are never more than a few feet off the ground. The climb flows nicely and is varied enough to keep your interest as you wander your way across the rock.

This is the largest boulder of the group. Problems climb up all sides, but the class of the boulder is We Who Wander, a rising traverse line on the western side of the boulder.
