The crux to this route comes early on and is extremely sequential, with only a couple of crap pieces to protect it well below your feet. As you pull through the tough bit you will be rewarded with brilliant protect-able face climbing up a left trending seam. Once this beautiful dance of lie backing right, then left, then right again peters out, follow face features straight up to the top. Better yet step right and climb off width and hand crack/groove to the top.

AP can be described as a bitchen jug and sloper haul, up a beautiful canvas of a face. Although protection is sparse it is all there. There are two variations to start this route. The first being just right of the start of Moon Dike. The other start is the same as Meteorology but before the crux of this route follow a left trending diagonal crack/mini ledge system. Both variations merge just before the wild edgy face climbing, before crossing the end of The Moon Dike.

This route is amazing start to finish. Launching off onto the Moon Dike from your last piece, is a super exciting adventure into your Psyche you will not soon forget.

Fitz's Folly climbs the varied weakness up the far right side of the west face. This route can be described as bushy, good cracks, good pro.,and is the only route on the formation you must pitch out. Second pitch is the closest thing you can get to climbing consolidated brown sugar as you climb an exposed and extremely rotten arete, to gain the true summit of the Real Cloud Ripper Tower.

Cumulonimbus is an epic protectable jug haul of a Route. Nearly dead vertical with a couple cool bulges to pull, this route has all the great qualities of the Left Ski Track at Tahquitz all packed into one 70m pitch.

This is the cool overhanging crack system to juggy lichen covered green arete. Not the best of climbs on the formation but with more traffic will clean up beautifully.

Sierra Wave climbs the downward right facing broken flake system just right of Meteorology.The crux comes in the first 15 feet pulling around a small mountain mahogany and continues as a beautiful but tricky 5.7 to the top. You have three different top out variations after the first 30 meters to choose from. Even better run Laps on all three!!

Cumulus climbs the obvious cleft to splitter hand crack just right of cumulonimbus. The hand crack quickly ends and puts you into a boulder problem, large but sloping holds will get you to a thank god diagonal off width. Once diagonal right tending off width ends follow jug haul to the top.

Alpine Breeze is the easiest and least committing route on the whole formation. Non the less is still a mellow worthwhile Cruz up wonderful features. Although originally done as a single 30 meter pitch ending as you merge into Fitz's folly at the tree. It is possible to finish up FF at 5.7 as Alpine Breeze merges into the route right at the crux.
