SDS on edges, move up and right and figure out a way to reach the good sloper jug. Try and climb this early in the day or you'll probably discover the name sake of the climb.

Red Storm Rising surfs up the side of one of the biggest boulders at Area 51. It starts on the far left side and works all the right to the apex of the boulder and tops out for a "true" ascent.  

  This route is very crimpy, with some sweet body tension and heel hooks. It never gets very tall, unless you consider the walk off top out.  

  It generally gets very dirty from all the trees around so a good brush and some elbow grease are essentials.  

Extremely crimpy route.  There are likely better holds buried beneath the moss but I figured it looked cool that way so only unearthed some crimps.  Only what is on the mossy face is on and anything else (to either side of the mass of moss or on the edges of it) is off.  If my memory is right there is only one hold (a microjug) after the start that isn't a crimp until the topout.  Start on two microjugs beneath horizontal crack - move up to edge directly beneath crack and work the crimps to the topout which consists of a big edge, a sharp little crimp/pinch, and a crimp higher on the little face perpendicular to and on top of Muckraker.

Sit start with good left and right hands. Place a right heel toe cam and move up the face. Might be a bit height dependent.

Start low on a horizontal finger crack and a juggy shelf. Work you way up to a balancy crimp at the crux before you top out. Be careful not to lose your balance as just around the corner of this boulder there is a shear drop about 20 feet.

Start on the large ledge down and left on the overhang, continue up on edges and gun for the lip. Take the lip around the corner and up to the top.

Start on the horizontal crack on the biggest face of the Hillbilly Highball Boulder between the arete on the left and the big ledge on the right. Stay just to the right of the arete for most of the climb. Skip the jug on the right about two thirds up and everything on the volcanic looking bulge on the arete except for the pinch right at the top of it.  Top-out delicately on either of the two slopey holds at the top.  Crux is right at the start but it just gets scarier from their. Watch out for wildlife in the sideways finger pockets.
