The crux is early in getting past the river washed rock to the second bolt. It is pretty chunky past that with a couple of fun under-clings if you choose to use them.

(AKA Sketch) This is the first route set up in Ophir. The bolts look a bit sketchy and the rock is too. "Utahs West Desert" Rates this a 5.9 but most climbers seem to think it's harder than that.

Compact rock below, loose midsection, and better rock up top. May be a bit run-out. Hold off your conversation with maryjane when attempting this one - problem solving skills recommended!

A short and pumpy Ophir Classic! Slabby start to squared off roof.

Crux is just after the second bolt. Lots of rope drag once you get to the top.

Sustained climbing over sequential overhanging roofs. This one will require some thought!

A very homogenous route with bolt protection right where you want it. Sticky limestone!

According to Matt Murton "This is the Ophir climb climbers love to hate!" A puzzling 5.10 for 5.11 leaders.

Climb the spectacular overhanging corner on 5.10+ terrain to work the roof. Due to the loss of a hold, this route had yet to see a Red-point (as of the publishing of the Utah's West Desert guide). Please update me with any more information!

Crux is right off the ground. Overhanging start to a nice compact mid section to a low angle finish.

Moderate casual climbing leads to an overhang which appears deceptively blank from below. Find the jugs once you're at the roof.
