Rap in to start. Small slab start to right facing flaw then small mantle to horizontal flaw and precise climbing through quartz crystal to smooth surface on edge of very large ledge. Continue to follow bolts up highly textured wall to anchors. There is about 30 feet between the last bolt and anchor. This run out can be easily protected with small nuts, or you can safely run it out to the anchors.

P.1 Heads up a nice 5.9 crack with a little roof to navigate around.  Worth doing on its own.

P.2 Heads up 5.12b on bolts to the top of the El Nino formation.

The crux section is actually a new progression in this route.  Fred re-bolted this one so that you have to shift onto the areté from the face after the first or second bolt. There's this sharp right-hand crimp I kinda had to throw to but the feet are good.

Furthest east route on El Nino; scramble up low 5th class terrain right of Swoosh to a steeper face above.

Starts on a rock near a tree, rapp down to start, pull rope and lead up if u like. Pretty fun and easy.

Sport climb up the middle of High Rise face.

This route is about as close to gym-climbing as you can get without having to sign in... really sustained... good climb.  The crux is at the top at the same section of wall as One Step Beyond, only, this side is significantly more featured, making it a 10a.

Though the route as a whole is not terribly sustained, the cruxes are interesting and high-quality. A tenuous slab start leads to a horizontal crack/rail and delightful small edges, then up toward a bulge at 65 ft; negotiate a delicate crux sequence here and finish on easier highly-featured terrain.

Start atop blocks on the far right side of El Nino and move left through the lowest-angled section of the wall. Pass 3 bolts and a large hollow flake on your way up to a small ledge and a steeper crux section just above.

Climb the arete at the bottom of the 3rd class scramble on the climber's left side of the formation. Start in a small dihedral with a small, broken finger crack on the left, then pull out of the dihedral (crux) up onto the arete proper. About 10-15 feet of 5.10 climbing up small crimps and textured slopes on the rounded arete, then the climbing eases significantly on the lower-angle, highly featured arete. There are open shuts at the top of the arete (at around 90 ft.) Stop here, or continue up the low-angle ledge around to climber's left w/ very easy climbing (5-nothing) to the top of the El Nino formation.

Very fun sporty climbing on jugs and edges up an arete.

2 pitch dihedral on el nino wall. Somewhat runout. Good route to access routes on the upper wall.

This climb is roughly a 5.10a but gains it's 11b from the obvious crux section at the top of the climb.  when you reach the top, there's a blank section of overhanging wall about 5' high that you have to reach over for a sloping, diagonal crimp.  once you have that hold, move your left foot high to a knob where you can drive through and reach the anchor.

Short and easy warm up climb for the El Nino Wall Area. Also a fun solo!

There are two crux sections here.  The first is at the very start of the climb.  I don't want to give away too much because it's fun to try and figure out the beta.  I'll just say that it's a huge move to a side-pull with no feet.

The other crux is at the very top.  The climb goes from kinda slab to strait vertical for the last 10' or so.  this 10' section has small knobs...great for feet, not so great for hand holds.  There is a small roof that has a bomber undercling you'll use to throw a left hand out to a small crimper hold then you're at the anchor.
