Approach the chimney that separates this rock from the south. Scramble about 15 feet up short wall to top where you will find two belay bolts on top.

Northwest Crack and Corner

This fun route begins with a short grippy steep 10 foot wall, crux mantle move (5.10a/b), then friction right and up through polished schist (5.7), finishing up the low angle slab to the top anchors on top the chimney.

Scramble about 15 feet up low angled northwest crack to a single bolt that is visible from the ground. Continue right over northwest corner onto the upper slab and better quality rock. Scramble up slab (5.1) to top anchors located above the chimney.

40 foot tall solid blue schist split boulder with a wide chimney crack up its center. Several oxidized bolts are in need of replacement. Refer to Rock Climbing Western Oregon, Rogue, 2005. Haystack Boulder topo photo pp. 168.
