Start on top of a block and lay back the right trending crack. Once on top of a ledge, go to the next Highest ledge via the past of least resistance. Two bolt anchor.

The crux is at the bottom past a confidence inspiring homemade hanger. Delicate moves on a seam until you can make a locker finger jam. The route tells you where you can protect. It's high 5.10 for the rest of the route.

This is one of the better splitter climbs I have done in Unaweep. If only the first 20' were as good!

Scramble up easy terrain to a bit of a ledge and toward some obvious bolts. From here, trend left and make some long moves to get established in the finger crack above a fixed nut. Crank a few moves until halfway up the splitter where a much needed rest comes in the form of a handjam/sidepull. From here, a devious move gets you up and into the left crack which starts as a seam and widens as you get higher. A few more cranks and you're at the anchor!

Looking up from the base, the splitter roof above looks intimidating. Once right below it you find a featured arete and some casual climbing. The first half is bolted until reaching the dihedral that forms the roof. This has varied climbing on good rock. It is pretty great!

Finding this thing was a big disappointment, because nearly all of the hangers had been removed. In its current state, it can only be top roped via the

Corridor 2

route. I plan on updating it upon next visit.*

This is an amazing slab the cascades down the right side of the gully. Begin up some easy broken territory to where a steep section with a bolt and a large, wet seep (seasonal). Once you gain the slab, a wandering route of bolts and gear navigates you to where you are within 6 feet of

Corridor 2

, and you must pull hard over the bulge to where the route joins up with

Corridor 2

for its finish. In its current state, only two hangers out of ~10-12 are in place.

This is a super long pitch, so beware of rope drag.

Follow a bolted line up a grainy slab. Trend right up easy territory in the beginning to clip the second bolt, then step right onto the face. Continue up until the prow ends on a ledge, and some tat around a tooth is obvious. The route should have gone higher!

This has great climbing on perfect, bullet hard rock. It is best to break this up into two pitches.

The first: begin up the gully and trend up right onto the face through the path or least resistance, a 5.7 walk up to the beginning of the dihedral where some old tat is visible.

The second pitch begins in the black corner with great stemming and good gear. Make a cruxy reach to gain a good rest on a small ledge. Place some small gear and do techy stemming to another decent rest and a bolt. Some creative moves on polished stone past a few more bolts gains the crack for 30' of 5.10 climbing. Awesome!

Pass the roof which protects with a #3 or you can get small gear underneath. Continue up to a dihedral with unique, double inner cracks at 90 degrees to one another. Finish the route on kinda chossy rock with #1s and some good hand-size as well. Pull through this, and you'll find yourself at a ledge, where you can traverse left and find a comfy belay.

Pitch One: (100ft) Make some easy moves off the ground then grapple with entry moves in the hard offwidth that becomes a chimney. Scoot back in the chimney, place, then go back out and wiggle up, belay at ledge.

Pitch Two: (100ft) Ascend the corner via ledges and seams and exit right out of the roof then jam and chimney your way until you have a short #3 cam crack on your right that leads you to a very roomy ledge.

Pitch 3: (50ft) From the belay ledge go up the good arching hands crack, and gain a ledge. Then head back and look for a corner with a roof, belay below the roof:

Pitch 4: (100ft) Pull through the  roof on jams and edges until it seams out and  make a cool traverse left and then up into some steep jamming to the top.

A fun route that has a bit of everything and gets you up there.

To access the clean, long corner, you have to climb a short thirty foot seam by hard to protect  11+/12- moves to a ledge. From there, it is excellent climbing that is sustained. The book says to break it up into 4 or so pitches, but three long pitches make it a fun sustained climb.

P1. Climb from the 5.11+ on thin gear and to right below the obvious roof and belay (200ft).

P2. 2nd pitch is 170 to a nice ledge.

P3. Last pitch is about 50 feet or so with most of it being easy 5th classing to the top.
