Three (?) top rope routes are on the ribbed slab next to the "<" sign in the pullout for this area.  I'll be honest: I didn't climb these due to the pile of very loose rock tiles at the top of the routes as well as the suspect "anchor" setup.

Sign Crack

Hop up the short blocky slab 5.4 past one bolt.  Skip left at the top of the slab to the second wall which is set back 8 feet.  Hop up the upper section past 5 bolts (bolt 2 is suspect.  It is set well but may be in a thick plate that is hollow behind it, 5.4 in that area)  Continue up past 3 more bolts, 5.7 crux at 4th bolt of upper slab where moves thin out and become a little reachy.  Good easy to moderate lead.

This is the obvious, large chimney that one sees 50 yards above the road when traveling down-canyon. It is about 30 yards left of

Hop, Skip, & Jump

and is located before the corner around which sits

Start as low as possible in this shoulder-wide slot that gets progressively wider as you ascend. When the (climber's) left wall turns to a ridge, either traverse inside the chimney or go out onto the face -- either way leads to a small overhang to be surmounted before finishing up on the final, ledgy, slab bit.

As one may imagine, many birds like this cool, dark slot to roost in. The bird shit adds a letter grade. Watch out for loose rock.

From the paved parking area 1 mile west of the Beige Siphon Tube, hike uphill east to the obvious chimney, (an old Jim Disney route 5.7).  Continue north for 60 feet, and turn uphill hiking to the back side of the chimney.  5 bolts.  Unclimbed (5.12???)  A crucial hold broke off while I was working it and made it to hard for me.  Have at it.

: there is an alternate approach to Paradigm Shift: a steepish gully just down-canyon from the pullout will follow a more direct line to the route.

Park at the pullout 1.0 miles west of the Beige Siphon Tube.  Walk 50 feet north up the road to the curve sign.  The climb is the obvious crack directly behind it.  A thin seam to good holds at the top out.  It may be loose.
