Crux is about 2/3 of the way up. It looks like nice big holes for your hands, but they are tricky.  Look for small pockets to the sides to perhaps get past this section. Your feet are better served by these holes.

Crux is moving up past the THU in the photo. It is a top anchor, however the only anchor is way to the right, so if you slip you will take a good swing. Also Fall Out so you don't hit the 1' rock projection on your right, Boy will that hurt.

Crux is first move. A little easier than Mountain Goat's crux.

Crux is in the traverse across the middle and working your way up the deep holes.  Start and top out are pretty tame.

Crux is working your way up the smooth 1' face that looks like it wouldn't be that difficult.  A crack would be great here, but none exists. Top anchor is far to the right so a nice swing awaits for those who come off.

Crux is the same as The Don Wall. However this start is a little tougher, so the full climb should leave you a little more exhausted.

The second move is the hardest.  Using the knee or lower body flexibility is key to solving this one.

Mt. Simon is a hard sandstone rock that juts up about 30' on the upper part of Mt. Simon Park in the city of Eau Claire.  Beautiful views from the top, the west side has a easy hike to the top of the rock, while the east face is the climbing side.  Feel free to drop any opinions on ratings as my experience to ratings is minimal, but wanted to put Eau Claire on the climbing map with the location.  Enjoy the view!
